I’m proud to announce my new prints for H.G. Wells’ books, and the War of the Worlds and The Time Machine. These prints will be debuted at my booth (504) at Comic Con International San Diego starting Thursday, 7/12/12. (Or the day before if you come on preview night)
THE WAR OF THE WORLDS
This is a three color screen printed poster on 18 x 24 inch, 100 lb. white cover paper/signed and numbered in a limited edition of 200. The price is $40.
THE TIME MACHINE
This is a two color screen printed poster on 18 x 24 inch, 100 lb. Lemon Yellow French cover paper and signed/numbered in a limited edition of 200. The price is $30
Also, I made this process video to provide a behind the scenes look at designing the Time Machine print.
I made these illustrations in association with my friends at Miles To Go Clothing, where they are available in various styles/sizes as t-shirts. This has been a fantastic artistic endeavor for me because I am such an H.G. Wells fan.
While these prints can be purchased separately, I am offering sets with matching numbers for $60, not a bad deal. Any remaining prints and sets will be available for sale on my website soon after Comic Con International is over.
COMIC CON INTERNATIONAL SAN DIEGO 2012
-Kevin Tong Illustration, booth number 504
This year, I’m bursting with what I hope is excitement to be exhibiting at Comic Con. I’ve attended for years and have always wanted a booth. Now, I finally have one!
In addition to the H.G Wells prints and the usual array of items I have at booth events, I’ll have some exciting new things for sale:
1. The Born to Illustrate T-Shirts, finally in XL and XXL.
2. Virtually every Mondo poster I have done in 2012 and some from even earlier.
3. Some sold out golden oldies that I have wrestled from my personal collection, such as band posters and art prints.
4. Posters I have done recently that haven’t been available online yet.
In order to spread them out, I’ll be taking them out at random times during the day and tweeting them (@tragicsunshine) as well as facebook posting them (http://www.facebook.com/KevinTongIllustration). First come, first serve.
I also have other events planned at other people’s booths, so please watch out for those tweets. No one ever wants me to say what it is I’m doing, hence the cloak and dagger routine.
It can’t happen soon enough, SEE YOU THERE!
